Why Is It Effective?

Envelopes are difficult to obtain. Even generic # 10 closed face or 6x9 envelopes are often on back order. Here at fmi, we have tried to help clients by stocking up on plain envelopes when we can get them and then print on demand as they need them for mailing.

Who Can Benefit?

We encourage mailers to personalize as much as possible on the envelopes. We are using not only names and messaging, but also images to personalize the recipient's experience. The additional personalization often results in a direct mail piece that produces improved results because it is highly personalized. If the mailer must reduce the size and scope of their overall mailing because they cannot get material, adding more personalization will help drive response rates.
